In early January every year, Lowcountry Rush invites all of its players as well as players from local Parks & Recreational programs across the Lowcountry to attend our Mid-Year Evaluations. This program is designed to give these players a chance to get a jump on early training for the spring season and the opportunity to experience training in a club soccer environment with professional coaches. As a matter of ethics and integrity, Lowco Rush will not invite or accept players who are already registered with another SCYS club to the clinic. In January 2025, over 10 new players were accepted and registered with Lowco Rush teams after attending our Mid-Year Evaluations and they each contributed to their new teams throughout the spring!

Lowco Rush also uses the Mid-Year Evaluations to invite ALL Parks & Recreation Coaches from the area are invited to attend a coaching clinic to watch the training from a coaching point of view. Senior BRSC Staff will guide discussions on our coaching methodology and practices with the aim to help recreational coaches improve their craft. Our obligation as Coaches is far more than showing up, dropping discs and rolling a ball out on to the field. BRSC is committed to improving the level of soccer in the Lowcountry and that starts with helping ALL Coaches, whether they wear the "Circle R" or not.
